Understanding Anxiety and Panic Attacks

Anxiety can show up in many different ways - as persistent worry, physical tension, panic attacks, difficulty sleeping, or a sense of dread that doesn’t seem to have a clear cause. Whatever your experience, you are not alone and support is available.

At Creuynni, we take a multi-dimensional view of anxiety. We recognise that it can have physical roots (e.g. nervous system activation), psychological roots (thought patterns, beliefs, past experiences), social roots (relationship stress, isolation) and even ecological roots (disconnection from nature and community).

Rather than trying to suppress or ‘fix’ anxiety, our practitioners work with you to understand it, build inner resources and gradually develop a different relationship with the experiences anxiety brings.

Our practitioners have experience supporting people with:

  • Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
  • Social anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • Health anxiety
  • Anxiety linked to chronic illness, trauma or life transitions
  • PTSD and complex trauma
